Indian ruins

We took a little road trip over the weekend and ended up checking out the Casa Grande Ruins, which are only about 30 miles from where we live. It was built by the Hohokam Indians, and is considered to be one of the largest prehistoric structures ever built in North America

My three favorite daily photos for today are:

Wroclaw, Poland

Maple Ridge, British Columbia

Kuwait City, Kuwait

OMG! Thank you for mentioning Kwt as one of your fav. pics of the day. (That too for a pic clicked on a mobile phone!) What a fantastic idea too. Your own daily awards! I never think of the fun ideas first. Damn!

Look at the plants there. (Indian ruins pic)Beats me how these things grow anywhere while the one plant in my balcony has to be coaxed into growing with love and Elvis songs. (Maybe I should stop singing them myself! Tee! Hee!)

Your little boys (profile pic) are cute. They must be a handful. Adorable.

A good pic, even better than the official website.

Wow, a prehistoric structure. It is good that it is taken care of and maintained. Thanks for the link for that site, I was able to read up more on it. Quite interesting. I wish things here were preserved because there are so many really old things here, but perhaps because of that people don't value it much....
