Chandler has a nice mall called the Chandler Fashion Square; it's an indoor mall, but this is the courtyard right outside, by the movie theater and several restaurants; my boys enjoy this fountain, which is timed to do different things

My kids loved it when one of the lights on the palm trees caught fire! Very exciting! My niece attends the same elementary school as your kids.
