It's still very hot here, so I thought I'd post a nice shady spot today; this part of summer is the worst when you live in Arizona because you are SO ready for cooler weather, and it just doesn't seem to ever come! Maybe in a couple weeks...

This monument is in front of the Yavapai County courthouse in Prescott, in honor of all of the Arizona ranchers

Art fair in Prescott

Yesterday, we took a road trip up to Prescott just to get out of the heat - they had an art fair going on in their town square. It's a pretty little town square, as you can see, with big trees and lots of shade.
