Arizona DP Theme Day - Arizona's Hidden Treasures

I almost let the theme day for the Arizona daily photo blogs slip by - the theme for this month is Arizona's Hidden Treasures, so I chose one from a road trip we did last summer, when we visited Canyon de Chelly - as you can see, it is very impressive, much like the Grand Canyon - but, much more off the beaten path and much less touristy

Fire damage

There was an awful fire a few years ago on Mount Lemmon, wiping out a lot of cabins and most of the town of Summerhaven - here is a shot through some of the damaged trees; it is still very pretty up there, and the town is slowly coming back

DP Theme Day - Feet

It's the first of the month, which means another theme day at the Daily Photo website - this month is feet, and my contribution was taken at San Tan Flats,a western style restaurant and outdoor bar that is a lot of fun to go to - we were at a birthday party, and you can see the current fashion in footwear for Arizona
