Whew, it's been crazy around here, and I haven't been posting - but, today is a theme day for the Arizona blogs, so I thought I'd pipe in - the theme is Desert in Bloom, and I liked this shot of the cactus in my neighbor's yard - they look like a bunch of ladies with a Sunday hat on, ready for church

You are so right, they do look ladies with hats on. It's so unusual to catch a whole row of cactus all blooming at the same time. Especially since the flowers don't last more than 24 hours. Good catch.
I like the way you describe them, what a pretty display when they all bloom at the same time like that.
