One of the things I love about Chris Bianco (Pizzeria Bianco) is that he has his little gardens all around his restaurant - what he doesn't grow himself, he tries to purchase from local farms and businesses.

Pizzeria Bianco
If you are in Phoenix and want to try a great local (gourmet) pizza place, you want to find your way to Chris Bianco's restaurant in downtown Phoenix - he was even featured on Oprah! He's only open for dinner, and you'll have a long wait for a table, but they have a nice bar right next door to help out - your pizza will be made by Chris himself - no take-outs! The guy only allows as much business as he can personally handle - you gotta love an artist like that

The centerpiece
And in the center of the little inner courtyard at Los Dos Molinos, the grandest fake flower centerpiece you've ever laid eyes on

Junk or art?
Another example of the weirdness that is on the Los Dos Molinos patio;

Wheelbarrow planter
Inside the front door of Los Dos Molinos is a small patio area filled with quirky things for you to ponder while you wait for your table. Here's a wheelbarrow used to hold some prickly pear

Like your food hot?
If you happen to be in Phoenix and want some good, hot Mexican food, you'll want to go to Los Dos Molinos in Central Ave; It's actually New Mexican food, and it is hard to find something mild on the menu; try the margaritas while you are there

Wagon Wheel Window
This window is part of the San Tan Flats restaurant out in Queen Creek, a pretty cool place to check out - they are in a battle with the law right now, straight out of the Old West; the restaurant has an outdoor stage and live music, and the sheriff has determined they are operating a dancing hall without a proper dancin' hall license! One of these nights, I'll get some shots of the place at night - they have firepits all around, and a bag of marshmallows is on the menu
