Green chiles

One of our local chain grocery stores periodically roasts green chiles outside and sells them for $1 a pound; my husband stocks up, and they are so good! Happy Cinco de Mayo!

Cool mountain

There's a lot of nice photo ops at the Phoenix Zoo - this was taken from one of their trails, looking down at the zoo property and on to the Papago Mountains in the background

Harvest time

My husband and oldest son planted a small garden this year, and it is producing! The boys love to go check it and pick the vegetables - we're up to our eyeballs in beets, plus peas, radishes, carrots, and strawberries.

DP Theme Day - City Exchange

I am participating in my first DP Theme Days, which they do every 1st of the month - this month's theme is a City Exchange, and the goal is to find a shot in your town that looks like it is from somewhere else - I found a vineyard straight out of Tuscany in front of a new apartment complex!
