One of our local chain grocery stores periodically roasts green chiles outside and sells them for $1 a pound; my husband stocks up, and they are so good! Happy Cinco de Mayo!

My mother loved them. I never did. You r photo is nice of them.
I hope you get to see the Rose-Breasted Grosbeak that came to Brookville, Ohio yesterday. It is the first one I have seen since we moved here 44 years ago.
Mmm, I love them. But there's a knack of makin them. Somehow I like them when my mom makes them, I dont like my made ones much.
