This was the Tempe holiday parade, which happened a couple weekends ago; nice, short, and sweet - a little tip: don't sit under the trees - the parade scares the poop out of the birds, literally!

Did you grow up watching the Roadrunner and the Coyote cartoons? If so, you probably grew up expecting the roadrunner to be about the size of an ostrich - not so! They are actually pretty small and easy to miss. This one stood still for it's picture, though.

Yesterday was officially Veteran's Day here in the USA, but today is the "holiday"; we went to the Veteran's Day Parade in Tempe, very hometown feel to it - my boys loved the motorcycles and the marching bands.
