Did you grow up watching the Roadrunner and the Coyote cartoons? If so, you probably grew up expecting the roadrunner to be about the size of an ostrich - not so! They are actually pretty small and easy to miss. This one stood still for it's picture, though.

I have this photo on my blog too. It's in Tempe near Borders. I took it the morning of the New Times 10k and I love your title. I go by meep meep on the Runner's World discussion boards.
I just looked at the date on the photo. I took mine the day before.
