Chandler is playful

This sign, outside of Tumbleweed park in Chandler, announces that we are a Playful City - I had to google this to find out exactly why - turns out, this is a national recognition program honoring cities and towns that "take action for play". The award is given out by a non-profit called KaBoom!, which encourages communities to build playgrounds -

Welcome to farmland

The park at Tumbleweed in Chandler has a farm theme, paying respect to the many farms that used to be Chandler. Here's a sign with a picture outside the playground from 1951 as a farmer worked his field
