...to smell the flowers! These roses are in our backyard and are just now blooming for the Spring (I think they are called Queen Anne's Lace)

One of the things that is different about Chandler is it's fondness for ostriches. Every year, there is the Ostrich Festival to celebrate the city's history of ostrich farming; I don't think there are any current ostrich farms in town, but downtown Chandler hosts several of these artsy ostrich

Here's another walkway at the San Marcos hotel; I love the old vines that grow up and over - I need to go back to see if they are in bloom!

The Hotel San Marcos was the first golf resort in Arizona; it is in downtown Chandler, next to nice shops and restaurants - here is one of the outdoor dining areas; I like the way the blue awnings make the area look nice and cool

I have no idea what these trees are, but they are so pretty in bloom; I took this shot a couple of weeks ago, and have since driven by - the flowers are already fading due to our little heat wave; anyone know what they are?

This old outhouse is set back in the woods behind the cabin we rented up at Mormon Lake; the kids got a kick out of it, but I'm not sure they even knew what it was for - hope everyone had a nice Easter!
