There are a lot of spray pads around town for the kids to keep cool - this one is at the Phoenix Zoo, and the water plays with the kids by changing where it is shooting up at random points - fun to watch

yes! We've just had our first 100 degree day here (38 degrees celsius), and it'll keep going that way now until October; low humidity, luckily
Kids always have fun playing in water.
